Instead of spending years in a shop as an unpaid assistant just hoping someone finally lets you touch a machine, our program is built so you start learning to tattoo right away.

 

 The full program is 10 months, but if you aren’t local or simply want to learn the fundamentals, you can choose our hybrid option or just do phase one without committing to the full path.

Phase One
You’ll start your tattoo journey in an intimate classroom setting where you’ll learn everything from sterilization and safety to line work, shading, needle theory, stencil placement, and how to turn your artwork into tattoo ready designs.


You’ll also get instant access to our Telegram group and our Online Training Portal loaded with videos, templates, and resources to help you grow fast.

Phase Two
You’ll move from fake skins to tattooing real clients with full mentor support in our feminine, empowering studio environment.


Training is available both in person and online to fit your schedule and location.

 

Many women decide to stay with us and rent their own private booth because they genuinely love the energy and vibe of Sugar Studios. But we also prepare you to stand on your own.


We’ll teach you how to attract clients through social media, support you in getting licensed as soon as you enter Phase Two, and guide you on how to run your own business.


So whether you want to open your own studio one day or work in another high end shop, you’ll be fully equipped and confident.

 

This is a tuition based program and A strong drawing/art background is encouraged.

 

Our classes are held in the evenings to support women who have jobs, families, or busy schedules. Whether you’re coming straight from work or juggling multiple responsibilities, you can still build your tattoo career without sacrificing your life.

We have two feminine, hands on training locations — Utah and California — and women fly in from all over the US to train with us because of the energy, the mentorship, and the results our artists get.

You will be inside of an intimate class room setting where you will have hands on, in person training. We will guide you in taking your tattoo skills to new heights while focusing on proper sterilization, line work, digital designs, stencils, shading techniques, black outs, grey wash, realism, and much more!

6 Months Online Client Portal Access 

Right from day one, you'll gain immediate access to our Client Online Portal, where you'll find a treasure trove of educational resources, videos, templates, and more. Over the course of six months, you'll continue to develop your skills by practicing on fake skins and real tattoos, while receiving ongoing, detailed feedback from our mentors.
